Gas Explosion: What caused a gas service line to leak and explode?
A gas explosion in a building was traced to a leak in its gas service line. A couple weeks earlier, a contractor replaced water pipes adjacent to the leak, and just before the explosion a ground fault occurred in a nearby electrical substation.
